Key features of the FSR regulations that protect our customers include:
- Product Disclosure Statements It is important that customers are provided with all the information they need to make an informed decision about any of our products. This is why before we sell you a product, we provide you with a Product Disclosure Statement that lets you know all about the benefits, risks, ethical considerations, fees and charges, and other helpful information relating to that product.
- Dispute Resolution Handling complaints and resolving disputes quickly and fairly is very important to us and our customers. Dispute resolution is addressed under our licence conditions and we are also a member of an approved independent External Dispute Resolution Scheme. - Float Management There are clear regulations about where we can place and how we can handle the funds received from our customers. This is essentially limited to Bank accounts or a government backed investments such as government bonds. We also have a Trust Deed which protects our customers' money.
- Human Resources Our management has undergone scrutiny and all individuals who perform key functions within our business are vetted. We have Responsible Officers who maintain compliance with our Licence conditions and the law. This ensures that we have at all times fit and proper people managing our business. All our Agents and Distributors are trained, assessed, and formally authorised through ASIC.
- Systems & Controls To protect customers and our business, we have in place comprehensive risk management and compliance systems that manage the potential effects of technological, economic, environmental and other risks. These systems undergo independent audit and are updated continually in accordance with auditor recommendations. Risk is continually monitored to ensure we are complying with our Licence conditions and the law, and to ensure that we continue to fulfil our charter of "Honesty, Efficiency and Fairness".
